The Unveiling - Fresh Sprouts!

February 22: The Unveiling
We came home from our trip and I held my breath for the unveiling. I slowly took off the frost cloth. Despite the cool weather and all the rain that fell in San Diego, the garden is doing great! Veggies are sprouting up all over the place. The radishes have really taken off. It’s amazing how fast they grow. I will need to thin them soon. The garlic has grown quite a bit, all the peas are coming up, and the beets and beans are just starting to emerge.
There’s no sign yet of the potatoes, carrots or onions. But, I’m optimistic that they’ll sprout soon.
