Brad Powell a.k.a. Daddy Brad is a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of DadLabs.com an internet television network dedicated to encouraging men to be active participants in the lives of their children. He serves as co-host for two of DadLabs weekly web shows and is an avid daddy blogger and parenting speaker. He is seasoned in the areas of communications and marketing, specifically targeting the use of social software, community platforms and emerging web and mobile technologies.
Daddy Brad is co-author of DadLabs Guide To Fatherhood, Pregnancy and Year One, is a founding member of Sony’s Digi Dads Blog group and can be heard weekly on the Cast of Dads radio show on Blog Talk Radio. He is a member of the Hanes Comfort Crew and serves as the fatherhood expert for the web publication Destination Maternity.com. He was selected as Dad of the Month by I-Parenting Media, has won both a Telly and a Webby award for excellence in video production and was recently named to Austin Social Media’s Top 100 list.
He claims to make the best Green Chili Stew east of the Pecos River, blows a mean blues harmonica, and blames the Grateful Dead and The Allman Brothers for his less than stellar college GPA.
Daddy Brad lives in Austin, TX with his wife Liz and three wonderful children Walker, Ella and Myers.
