Nutri-Base® is a specially prepared soil that is perfect for raised bed gardens. It was developed by a greenhouse that sought better blooming and faster growing for all their plants. It is a unique combination of sphagnum peat moss, sterilized vermiculite, slow release fertilizer, and other essential ingredients.  Nutri-Base is ready to use and requires nothing else but your seeds or starter plants. It is free of disease and weeds and has high water retention properties. Each box contains approximately 5.25 cubic feet of soil and weighs about 53 pounds.
